Took cowboyz to Welly this morning two up on the meanie to pick up his new bike so there will be no more bagging him about his ride cause his new one is very nice indeed First time he has been a pillion i believe
I cant tell you what it is cause he asked me not to and it wouldnt be right to steal his limelight especialy after the ribbing he had over the Kitty and the volty, oh and yes they did have a volty in the shop but he wouldnt entertain buying it although he did have a good look over it drooling a little (i knew he liked that volty)
But i can tell you he was smiling ear to ear all the way home and i kept right on his tail all the way over the Paekock (spelling) hill, probably the last time but i will remind him constantly

I just happened to be driving my car down to Otaki this afternoon, and I swear I saw a certain someone swooshing past me heading for Palmie on a very nice looking new bike! Well done that man!!!

ok. I fess up. I would have posted earlier but the options were to either

    a. Rush home and post on kb that I brought a new bike OR
    b. Ride the thing.

    unfortunatly option b won.

    It is a 1998 ZX9R.

Loving the ride home. Some much power...... ooooooooohhhhhhhhhh some much power.

It is definitely different to the gsx6f. Feel a little uncomfortable pouring on the power in corners cause the front tends to bounce. Need to get throttle control working. By the time I got to Levin I think I had it worked out and made pretty good time to home. Really happy with the bike. I left it at brother in laws tonight cause I just had a bit of a lot too much to drink but will pick it up tomorrow and take some photos.

many thanks to Peter at wellington motorcycles! He rocks. At one stage there I thought he was going to cut his right testicle off and give it to me. Just couldn't do enough for me and made sure all was good. Fantastic to deal with after recent outings with bike shops.

Congratulations! It looks like a pretty cool machine. Should keep you out of trouble for a while but you may want to put a suzuki badge on it to make sure it keeps going
