Local guy had one. He liked it. Low seating if you are short in the leg. Tuned different to the usual Suzuki TL 1000. More low & mid range power. Nice sound. Interesting /different looking machine. Naked so little wind protection. On the plus side any Suzuki agent could work on the engine. Cheers

TL1000 motor is awsome............ive done 40000kms on mine with no problems at all,ton of grunt and alot of fun.........i like the look of the cagiva...little different,i beg to differ with the post above as a stock v-raptor uses a detuned version of the TL1000 motor, peak horsepower was 110 at approx 9500 rpm, would be a good candidate for a set of TLR pistons and cams.

Funny you should say that - coincidentally the Cagiva Raptor 650 has got a SV650 engine in it but the Cagiva Raptor 1000 has a TL1000 engine in it.

Its a much modded x-raptor.......very nice.........but in my opinion the raptor in stock form is also very nice..........with endless modding possibilities, have been down the Ducati road and as ok as they are i wouldnt bother going back, unless it was an old bevel drive SS.

Don't listen to this guy, can't you see that he's from Karamea? A funny lot over there...it's the isolation.
