    PLUGZ 4 LUGZ earplugs

Custom made earplugs!! Stop the wind noise!!!! I have worn my custom earplugs under a welding helmet for 18 years and six years under my riding helmet. Wouldn't be without them. Can still hear the bike (and any sirens trying to sneak up!!) The best investment for the best rides

    Sorry....

... have edited the message, but having a hell of a job finding out where to change the 'thread' title. We have had so many enquiries for the custom made plugs, following the classic bike fest at Pukekohe and have only just heard we can trade at Paeroa. Someone suggested I 'get the word out' through your valuable website. My sincerest apologies, Sue

If you have no sucess there, try http://www.elacin.co.nz/. I have a set, wonderful things they are!

Sue, passing on offers/info is part of what KB is about (there's even a forum for it), but PM spam is probably not appreciated by many...

Cool!! Thank you for that. Can you explain 'PM spam'? I've been fossiking around in here and am still learning the ropes. I have been in touch with Elacin myself and have been told there's a few weeks wait as he sends them overseas. We make them on the spot, walk away with them in your ears after 30-40 minutes. The best value at the Classics last weekend. I must have been the only one without my fingers in my ears at the starting grid, to begin with...... then people caught on..........

Weeeeel, if I've got the wrong end of the tree and you only sent little old me a Private Message advertising your product (for some reason.....?) then I apologise as I have no point.

If, however you sent out a bunch of PM's to people advertising the plugz then I'm in a friendly way pointing out that there are those less tolerant than me who will flame the hell out of you on the site for doing so.

Perhaps a better approach would be to post (or ask a mod to move this thread) into the buy/sell forum, to not send advertising via PM (as above, if this is what you did) and to not have a weird poll on your thread (which is probably as you say, just a case of being unfamiliar with the site)

    nah allun, I'm speshal too

OK, but I am interested. Just how good are yours? Wind noise only? Just how many decibels do the plugs stop, as I have the alpine plugs, with yellow inserts. Some complain of them being too good, and use the normal green inserts. I want better than yellow...

I hope you're a pillion. If not,why are you listening to a friggen ipod while you ride?Your bike/riding to boring to keep you interested?

New York City is looking at banning ipod use by pedestrians because too many of the fuckwits are walking into traffic and getting mashed.

For someone "learning the ropes" you sure mastered setting up a poll as a goods peddling device quite well...

hmm, a ride with no wind noise? ..wouldnt that be a car? For me i like the noise, never seen the point of ear plugs on a bike.
Dumb poll, but clever way to get on the main page. I reackon there is going to be an advertizing revolution one day. The people will raise up and tear down all the bill boards, turn off the tv during the ads, and sue the arse that keeps putting junk mail in their letter box`s. Or maybe thats just wishfull thinking. of advertizing

One day you will learn the meaning of the word tinitus, but then it will be too late.

If you live long enough you may even learn how to pronounce "tinitus"
