    Question Vagabond bins it!

Tuesday 6 Feb, had a car do a u turn across my path, resulting in a broken shoulder blade and various other minor abrasions/brusing

Question : How do I go about finding out which cops were on the scene, as I was admittidly rather out of it being more worried with things like pain?

I got carted off to hospital and never got details of cops or cage driver, will post more details once I feel up to it.

    Cool

Ring the nearest police station to where the accident happened....
They will have sent out the car to attend the accident.

They will also have a record of who attended.
Ask for the 'watch House' when you ring up.

They will ask where it happened and what time...... and your vehicle rego number.
As that will help find the incident number on the log sheet.
They should also give you the names of the police officers as well.

The police will contact you....... hopefully sooner that the 5 weeks it took them to contact me after my bin last year.

Hey glad you are gonna be ok............rest up and heal well.

Keep a record of what was said at the accident and when you talk to the police... and the times you spoke to them.

Have no contact with the other person...... give them no details..... until the police tell you in writing who was at fault.

    ADMIT nought.

While you can, write down what happened while it is still clear in your head...
draw pictures of what happened as well.
