    Phase I of my VFR400

Well thought it was about time I posted again - read a lot post little.

Anyway over Waitangi weekend (took Monday off too) I put my painted Tyga RC211V replica fairing onto my VFR400. So now I need to get a WOF (tomorrow - completed the install this weekend when I installed the rear HRC brake reservoir kit)

Next phase (in Winter when $$ can allow the purchase) is to get a full Ethos system and a jet kit.

Colour is Black with a light blue perl in the final coat (can only been seen when up close and in sunlight - kinda cool). I still need to repaint the wheels but they will be going from white to silver to match the honda wings I have for the tank.

    Here is a pic.

It passed its WOF today no problems at all. Then as I was leaving the North Harbour VTNZ station....no nothing bad-ish they have this large curb you need to go over (assume to test if a car is too low before you get the WOF these are on the way in and out - much like a speed bump) and the suspension compressed and the belly pan just caught on the back and took a small amount of paint off and put a few small scratches in the the glass work - never mind these things happen

But it is now road legal again

now get the frame wrapped in carbon fibre, powder coat the swingarm matt black, and get the RCV211 style exhaust... that will look the shit! Loving the paint job!

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
