    Council is responsible, but only if they know about it. If we advise them of poor maintenance or faults and they don't do anything about it then they can be held responsible. If no-one has informed the council of the fault then it is difficult to hold them responsible. Complaining to the council every time poor maintenance is found is the best thing you can do.

    LOL Na i had a closey like that only it was down coast road from blenheim to kiakora would sucked going off edge onto the rocks only to have seals eat me!

    ok whoever the stms contractor was for the signage is the people to go...find out who repaired the road and who ommitted to leave sighs behind warning of loose metal...if they havnt done the job properly take them to task..its not the council, they sub contract the jobs , besides get in touch with LTNZ they are the ones who will get the ball rolling.
