    R1 vs Veyron

Bloody quick cage, but what can you expect with quad turbos?

Thought this may be interesting for a few. Apologese mods if its in the wrong place.

Not even remotely fair... Did you see the Top Gear clip of them going 407km/h? Now that was a good vid...

One turbo on a 'Busa seems to be enough to top 260mph

I haven't looked at the links, but it sounds like a stupid "test". If they're going to pit the world's fastest 'production' sportscar against something, then it should be against the fastest bike, maybe a factory MotoGP bike? A turboed EyeAbuser?
What was this testing anyway? Or is it not actually a test, but some kind of pissing contest?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

sorta expected haha... as said above thaught it would have pulled a bit more than that but it is pulling 300k in 12 secs which ain't bad. well, most 1000hp rice powered cars don't do that. a similarly 'extreme' modded busa does it in 9.1. but it don't have aircon and a radio or 2 seats does it?

amazing car, didn't look like it did to well around a track vs a elise in another vid though, i'll try find that vid if you guys want me to.

Wasn't a "test" just on the autobahns in GErmany with other cars around.

According to 'top gear' doesn't the Veyron need a special key inserted to unleash all its power... perhaps this hadn't been done in this instance??

    Still cool though

Anyone know if a Veyron is good around a track? Quicker than, say, a Zonda?

ooops, got my threads crossed up, was expecting a Viper in there.

I'm sure the Veyron could be quicker in better hands. That was probably some 17 year old from the Middle East behind the wheel there. Give it to the 'stig I say.
