Yep, but only the Dowse interchange is getting done at this stage - we are going to have to wait longer for Melling, KoroKoro and the section of SH2 past Petone Bowl (although the latter is at least in the 10 year plan). Once it's all done it will make a big difference, but there will still be the bottleneck at the Petone onramp. That stays unfortunately.

Heard today that the light sequencing for the two intersections at the Melling bridge has been changed.

Apparantly this has been screwing up the hutt motorway flow something chronic.

Hahaha!! You all know who to blame for SH2 when you're stuck in traffic - DRUM!! HE did the design for it, and it's his fault for leaving before the job got started so it's in a real mess (it's all his fault)

p.s. It's all Drum's fault!! Did I say that already?

JIm2 doesn't care about those other projects. Jim2 lives in Maungaraki. It's all about Jim2.

You obviously havn't heard that access from Maungaraki to SH2 will be severed! Your new motorway access will be to SH1 just north of Newlands.

Drum, you didn't have anything to do with the straightening of the Kaitoke's did you?? I vowed to seek revenge on the scum that stole those little dippers & twisty's.

I've driven north for the past two mornings. Traffic has been banked up to round Grounsell Cres on both days. I almost felt sorry for them, poor plebs.
