    Blah

I bought a disk from Freddies Discs, great quality I thought. Laser cut from single piece of steel. Even threw in a pair of brake pads too.

Great guy, OEM is way to expensive.

Another approach Jim is to download the EBC catalog and look for interchangeability.

For example, some Yamaha disks are interchangeable with Ducati.
$880.00 each for the Genuine Yamaha
    $450 each for EBC replacement
    $375 each for genuine Ducati

    Go figure.

Yep. I've got the EBC catalogue MD4141LS or MD4141C is the part. 139 quid each in the UK, $AUS600ea via the Aus distributor. UK company won't ship, says go to the Aus distributor. Silly people.

No idea. I've not had anything like a panic stop at high speed, wetting the disk when hot, or stopping hard and holding the lever on.

Yes it is out of warranty.

Yeah, that kind of shoots that idea down because they look specific to Kawasaki.

Still, I am using Hayabusa disks on the GSXR and they are larger diameter and about half the price of GSXR disks (I guess because same disks used on so many Suzuki models), so it does pay to hunt around.

No I thought it could have been to do with the "wee off"
    Then could have been insurance

As you've the ebc part numbers, MD4141LS and RS for left and right sides. You should look for a US site willing to ship to NZ. USD$168 each.

    Ask here:

Yeah that would be nice wouldn't it. Problem is, they were fine after the accident which was in September.
