She's not my politician and I don't like being told how to discipline my kids by the govt!!!

She is trying to stop all the innocent kids being beaten to death.
She is trying to stop people swinging with the hands/arms or whatever else they use at full force and slugging the shit out of a little childs head and body.

So if you are not one of them that really hurts a child, then you aint got to worry, have you.


That is why the 'No smacking Bill" is still being disscussed in committee in parliament, as not all politicians agree with the wording of the bill as it stands today.

So they are sorting it out...... as a smack on the hand and bottom is ok.... but NOT with extreme force.

Well weve all seen how the govt handles families through CYFS I do beleive theres even a website dedicated to their incompetence they cant sort that out let alone govern what happens to kids getting smacked!! Farkin Scary if you ask me!!!

The problem is the judges who think it is OK for dad to beat their kid up with a baseball bat because they wouldn't eat their veges for tea/poohed in their nappy, etc...

Dude you really have no idea do you.

Many of the rich people out there beat up there kids as well.
They are in stressful jobs and come home and take that stress out on their partners and kids.

So the bashings and killing of kids happen in all walks in life, whether you be rich or poor.

The rich seems to hide it better behind closed doors.
Kids or wives stay at home til the bruises are all gone.
The person who beats them up, know to hit them where the bruises dont show so much.

It should be dead easy to sort out. All they have to do is clearly define what is reasonable in terms of discipline and leave the crimes act as it stands, (no need to repeal section 59).

But the NZ way seems to be to overcomplicate everything or to not think for ourselves and just copy what they did in Denmark, Poland, Australia or where ever else seems to be the most PC at the time.

Well I work with one of those '5 foot nothing' cops, he's as old as I am and the criminal fraternity are flat out scared of the little guy - he can (and has) flattened anybody who gives him a 'go', armed with pipe/knife or whatever.

But otherwise he's just a mild-mannered '5 foot nothing' amd I'm o.k. with him - it IS right.

I'm abit more realistic. I like the term - "A good big man will always beat a good little man." Obviously when talking about things of physical nature.

I can't help but also notice how you see alot more reports these days about cops getting done over. I also think it's obviously because the 5 foot nothing guy and girl cop doesn't offer the same level of deterance as the two 6 foot 3 male officers.

To me - It's not at all right. I don't like lowering standards.

I always liked the higher standards of the days of old.
Just like I liked strict schools with strapping/caning. I like strict standards.

I don't like todays politically correct stance. It's for the weak!
I also think that anybody who likes this new politically correct stance is either just thick or just relieved that there is an opportunity for people just like them now.
