Glad your hassels are sorted out.
SA definately lacks the customer service that we experience here in NZ, people will by now be asking "WHAT customer service......?" Shows how deprived I was back in SA, the attitude was: if you don't like it, lump it!

good on you stonechucker for the update & resolution of problems.you have gone a long way to restoring my faith in humanity. sorry I didnt read it before I flew off the handle. I am sorry for the out burst, it was a little over the top. I am going to blame it on having a bad day. its hard not to be cynical sometimes when people demand unrealistic results.
for all you gossips who havnt got anything better to do. I am a DIESEL MECHANIC! I am sure the same situations happen if you work on cars, bikes or heavy equipment.
are you all starved of a bit of scandal or somthing? & in my experience the Sawyers staff have always been great.

Thanks Moko for putting that in. I was a bit dark on it for a while, (not at Stone chucker) but for the fact that my pride & joy has been damaged. But you get over it and move on.
Glad to hear you got it all sorted out Stone chucker. We pay good hard earned coin for our bikes & their upkeep.....it's important to find a bike shop you have piece of mind with.....Well done Sawyers.
See you Sunday Stonechucker......Hope the weather gods are smiling upon us.

What's the story? Did your headlight get smashed up somewhere along the rest of the ride? I take it something like that happened - hope you didn't need to replace the whole unit!
Oh! Is that why Stonechucker is Stonechucker? Sorry - the cogs are slowly turning over.

See this thread for what happened http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php?t=4252 ..... just one of those things that happen on a ride. Have still got a lump on my finger from one of the "bullets" that hit me.

Good on you mechanic for coming back to the forum. Apology accepted by me at least. Look forward to hearing some more (hopefully happier) news from the other side of the mechanical experience...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Good to hear from you again, a few more good posts and you might lose your red square.

As for scandal have you got a few stories to tell that Lynda hasn't told us already?
    Cheers

    Re apology

Yeah good on you mate, apology accepted, look forward to more posts from you, like wise for myself, you just pissed me off, attacking the dude ST ,which was a shame as you made some good points But you have done the decent thing, so from me ,I now retract my comments.

May meet up with you when we come to Wellytown. And perhaps we can have a drink together.
