Question Need to get back in the saddle again

Have gone from a Dragster 180 to a ZX6R, then back to the Dragster. Sold both but now need (for cheap commuting) and want (great fun) another set of (two) wheels.

I've been keeping an eye on TMe and think I want a 400. I also want to be comfortable.

Any advice on whether this listing http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...px?id=88394992 is a good option? Liking the streetfighter look and adjusted position via the riser bars.

Many thanks... first time back here since Aug '05 so hi again.
Someday we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

    Ah shit,and I'm still here.....I gotta get a life.Dunno about the bike,but '87 is pretty old for a sportsbike.

Whose is the Escort? What have you been driving on gravel lately....or have you given it up? Good to see you back.

Hey Motu. Good to hear from you.

I've only allowed myself a max of $2500 to spend. Not alot, I know. Best that I get assistance from the forum... before I go spend $4000+ on a brand new Belladona RV150 scooter I'm hopeless, huh.

MK1 Escort avatar is just a favorite old skool action shot. Unsure of driver but is NZ. Have a new rally car and start competing again next month in Hamilton - 1985 Mitsubishi EX Lancer Turbo. Can't wait as have been in the co-drivers seat for the past season.

What you been up to Motu?

Seeing the bonnet scoop I thought it might be Peter Hughes V6 powered MkI Escort.I used to work for Peter in 1980.Used to work next door to Jim Donald too.

I have spent the last couple of years smouldering in a slow burn out,but the main structure remains undamaged.Looking forward to a new life soon.I still try to ride more gravel than seal....some skills are important to keep well honed....

Crikey! Just spotted this, Hiya Deb!

How's it going. Let me know when you want to go look at bikes.

Hi again Deb, good to hear you're looking for another bike and are back talking to us here. I'm still around and riding mainly the same bikes as then.
    Cheers

    Merv
