The end of my gear selector fell offon Weds morning going into Wellington, and after 1/4 hour of searching the gutters by New World & the American Embassy I called TSS to help out.
They picked up my bike as soon as their truck was available, and sourced a replacement part. Unfortunately, the existing gear lever assembly bits were after market and the new parts couldn't be put on without a bit of a drama. So, what did they do? Instead of just putting the (probably expensive) part on the bike and charging a couple of hours labour to make it all work, they just made up a bolt-on piece which is just as good as before - and charged me nothing.
Now that's what I call outstanding service, which in turn generates customer loyalty and much appreciation.Good on ya guys - particularly Darren, the workshop guys and Richard, who were really helpful all the way through...some beers are on the way...
