Just looking at my bike keys.

One is a standard looking key - which works in the following 3 places: ignition, petrol tank and helmet lock key.
This key has a black top to it. On the metal bit, it has a number stamped onto it. That is the master key number. Write it down in case you loose the key and keep that number safe. You should have been given two keys the same.

One 'L' shape key - steering lock key - fits on left side up near the top of the tank on the main part of the bike. You should have been given two keys the same as well.

Those are the only two keys which come with the VIRAGO

    Hope this helps.

Were you by any chance given a disc lock with the bike?

Disc lock key - At the end of the key it is kinda hollow and a 'O' shape at the end of it?
That fits the disc lock to secure your bike.... goes throu the bigger holes on the brake disc on the front wheel.

Normally you only get two keys with the disc lock.
Again on the side of it, it has a number. You can only replace those keys throu the distributors...... so keep that number in a secure place and dont loose it.

The disc lock comes in different shapes.....

A 'D' shape lock - which is the one I use and hang it off around my cables at the front of the bike.
a small thin lime green/yellow thingee.
    A really long 'D' lock.

others hang them off the back of the bike....or in a carry bag.

Yep the seller may also be wondering where the lock keys are as well to put on their new bike.....

If you dont get the lock, whip into a bike shop and buy a disc lock..... and also get a stretchy cord to attach to it and then to the brake lever.
So that you wont forget you have the disc lock on when you walk away from the bike. Many come back turn on the bike and go to take off..... and down the bike falls as the lock is still on the brake disc.
