It's human nature to gossip and speculate. It seems like in this case some good came of it. Enjoy your free beer at Franz Josef.

    Hi Anfield

A most generous gesture and we will pass through in 3 weeks on our "Birds Galore" tour.

    Thank you

like someone asked earlier, does the free drink apply to a non-alcoholic?

good on ya mate....heres hoping this keeps things sweet for a while. well done to those that chipped in, and also to anfield for recognising that and returning it.

As I'm all but down the road, I can greatfully recieve anyones beer that cannot make it to your fine establishment, I will bring a list of Kiwibiker names with me that are unable to attend and cross their name off the list as they are consumed, that way no one will be able to say they didnt get their's as we can cross reference it with the list, Foolproof plan and no one gets ripped off.
Oh I may require a nights accommodation as well, Can't be seen drink riding

    Arrow Moderator's warning

I'm not going to tolerate personal abuse in here, OK? Four offending posts have just been moved to the Drivel Thread. If you want to carry on poking each other, do it there, OK?

Big thanks, Anfeild! Glad everything worked out the way it did. See you next Xmas break.

Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule
