Now the girly ride i organised last year was a different story... i copped abusive PM's and a lot of red rep from certain members and intervention from mods was needed... and it made me seriously question my staying on KB... Yeh, I remember this, what a fracus......and all for nothing.
I did organise a 'blokes ride' too, and there was no bitching from the girls.......
Go the girlie rides, they all seem to enjoy themselves heaps and that's what it's all about innit

For those of us with less of the afore mentioned atributes.
Apologies Fizz - I think I now know the intent of your question. Upon reflection my 'outburst' may not have been clear.

I believe this is an open forum for people to meet likeminded people... if we want to organise a girly ride.. we have just as much right as a dirtbiker or 250cc rider or a stunt night... i see no problem....
the comments and reports from our latest GCR were very positive and helped some shy ladies come out and have an awesome day with good company and are now more confident for it.... (plus it got a friend of mine on a bike for the first time and she loved it!!!)

so i think, let us girls go for coffee and you boys get off your criticising asses and organise yoru own rides unless your too lazy and all you can do is complain about others getting out there and riding....
Totally agree. If the girls want to do their own thing - they should go and do it without having to be 'influenced' by other members of the forum....especially those that still live in the stoneage.

Hence the reason why I questioned why a poll was instigated for what I'd consider an inherent right that anyone on this forum can organise their own rides/gatherings - regardless of age, location, bike type, cc rating, riding style or manufacturer preference...oh and fundamentally - GENDER.
No discourse on gender should be required - its an insult to those that look after your kids while you're out having a farken good time on your bike!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, before it turns into a free for all bitch session or something. The poll has proved its point!

    Why should it be pd'd?
I mean this conversation has been interesting, there has been no excessive abuse... it has been bike/riding related...

yes i agree the thread has carried on and on and on and on... but I dont believe in moving things to pd just for the sake of it... I know some Mods do, but I dont wear that hat.

    Sorry Ceebie!

    good grief, 5 pages yet.

.............. and i sit here wondering whether the thread would have died within half a page had the question been "Should Ducati riders be permitted to organize their own rides?

perhaps if peop.s were to regard girly rides as just one more 'interest' group [i can already see certain peoples fingers twitching to respond to THAT thought] we'd all be better off? I mean, don't take it so personally?

and, for those that have previously red-repped Nicksta for organizing a girly ride, do you also red-rep those organizing dirtbike rides? 250 rides? cruiser rides?

    Riding is the important thing

but but... most of that list are big dicks... or did I miss summat?

And as for piling women 10 high at the dump - that's offensive... I can think of much more fun games to play with too many women at hand
