I'm with you mate. Done a few Welly rides in the last few weeks and I'm only stopped from doing more by other commitments - I have far more ride choices than rides I go on so I can never complain. I love group rides and have never felt uncomfortable on one.

If some think there aren't enough group rides it can't take much for them to organise one all by themselves by starting their own thread - that would be radical eh!

I don't mind group rides, been on a few now and have enjoyed them and the people Ive met along the way.
I was thinking to myself the other day at how much my riding had improved since I joined KB, and doing some of these group rides, alot of that came from talking to and listening to others, when we all stop for a regroup or what ever, we would all be talking about the last bit of road we had just done, someone would say I notice that you did this, why don't you try this, so you give it a go, F**K me, wish I had of known that years ago.
Ive been riding roughly 35 years and still learning.
I still enjoy riding alone, I liken it to masturbation, group thing or solo I still enjoy.
With so much going on over the summer months, don't get the chance to get out on some of the rides, with kids sports and family stuff, but always keen
Why would you ride that long and that gnarly stuff if you don't have to, Its what we do, we love it.

I really tossed my toys after that ride man, I was absolutely fucken gutted and although I know I shouldn't have taken it personally (I'm over it now), I just couldn't believe what a fuck up it was.

Ah back in the old days... The trusty Rg150.... Good times... many memories...

But alas i dont ride on the road anymore. Dont like tickets, the risks, and the lack of pushing the bike to its absolute limit (you will probably die if you do...) also the unmarked gravel, roadkill, oil and other shit... And the fact my only road bike is the mighty FXR150...

I'm such a newbie, I don't like to organize anything as I know I don't have enough skill or knowledge. Also, most of the other rides around here are so far away that it is a ride to get there in it's self, let alone go on the ride then get back home

depends on what you think racing is.

i like to follow almost every rider to watch their lines (starting from the back sometimes). i often get real close but i almost never 'race' them

after i've seen them ride i kinda know what they'll do in most circumstances.

i don't make a racing move to pass, just wait until the next opportunity to get past with no stress then let them watch my lines.

often i'm happy to sit behind all day

that aint what i'd call racing, but i know some people think i do
