    fixed foot pegs

Yes in the 60s most if not all bikes had fixed pegs.My A7 Shooting Star pegs[or foot rests as we called them then]were ground off at about 45 degrees from constant scraping.About 10 of us would go out at night and all try to touch down on one particular tight corner. The shower of sparks was fantastic! The bikes we rode are now classics,Triumph 350s,Bonnevils,A7s,A10s,Domminator 500s,Matchless or AJS 500s,and one mate on a venom.

LOOK MUM NO HANDS.............LOOK MUM NOOOOOOO......

Nice one dude, can't wait to do that myself
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

    Yehaa!
    GN250's got what it takes!
LOL... I usually scrape my boot's before I even get close to the peg.

This can only mean one of two things:
One I have huge feet or two you don't have tows anymore... LOL

Always a nice feeling that first one. Remember mine vividly.

Mate of mine has got a ZXR 250 and I was very surprised to see his pegs didn't fold! Is that the same on all zxr's or is his a special breed?

Good on ya, hope to get there myself one day.......and since those 'reserve traction' strips (more commonly refered to as chicken strips) are getting smaller ya never know I might do it yet.

She's trying, but I've already bought TWO bikes as a replacement. Sorry old Ginny, it's time to pass you on to somebody else who will love you.
