    And the band played on...

Daisy, Natalie & Rosy ... starting to sound like quite an inaugural menage a trois in the offering! Oh, but it brings a sentimental tear to my eyes When I think of how Daisy was left to find her way in this cruel, cruel world of heartless bikers... in fact... hum with me now, to the refrains of ...

    Daisy a Day

He remembers the first time he met her
He remembers the first thing she said
He remembers the first time he held her
And the night that she came to his bed

He remembers her sweet way of singin'
    Honey has somethin' gone wrong
He remembers the fun and the teasin'
And the reason he wrote her this song

I'll give you a daisy a day dear
    I'll give you a daisy a day
I'll love you until the rivers run still
And the four winds we know blow away

They would walk down the street in the evenin'
And for years I would see them go by
And their love that was more than the clothes that they wore
Could be seen in the gleam of their eye

As a kid they would take me for candy
And I loved to go taggin' along
We'd hold hands while we walked to the corner
And the old man would sing her his song

I'll give you a daisy a day dear
    I'll give you a daisy a day
I'll love you until the rivers run still
And the four winds we know blow away

Now he walks down the street in the evenin'
And he stops by the old candy store
And I somehow believe he's believin'
He's holdin' her hand like before

For he feels all her love walkin' with him
And he smiles at the things she might say
Then the old man walks up to the hilltop
And gives her a daisy a day

I'll give you a daisy a day dear
    I'll give you a daisy a day
I'll love you until the rivers run still
And the four winds we know blow away

Still with me? Then if you must, if you really really must - if you want to be my lover, then you need to get on with my friends ...

    Thank god for that!

Nah just kidding mate. You're so enthusiastic it's infectious. Reading your posts always puts a smile on my face! Excellent that Natalie made it out with you too - top marks that man!

    Add pics of Rosey please!

My god, you make me sound so cruel... so callous!

Let us not forget that Daisy was found a home WELL before Rosey was re-located to fill the garage void.

Looking at the farewell shot last night, I must confess I almost felt a bit of a twang... but it could just be the cold I have at the moment...

And it's comments like that young Donor me lad that gets you that "cruel...so callous!" moniker :slap:

The only reason you wanted to foist Daisy out early was you didn't want to get into a slanging match between Daisy and Rosy, methinks it was only self-preservation mode here!

Will wait and see if Chisanga manages to polish out the scratches from his latest bin, and make a bit of a day of it.

Of course, I could only do this if Daisy was going to be there... *cough*

Well apparently all I need to do is change the direction of the bulb inside the headlight .. but just changing the bulb in the first place was hard enough. Now I have to adjust it somehow!

    Too late sorry! hehe
I managed to find a few phillips heads to get the job done, although I did make the bulb a bit too high I fixed it at the WOF shop and got it bang on, now I can see in the dark again!

Although if you still want the fixit party, I can kick your bike over and we can try fix it?
