    You wonder about some people

Two different bikes and rider behind me - two different approaches.

First off, sat next to a ZZR1400 this morning. I got away first, so he sat behind. I think initially he was going to try to overtake, but as I was cracking on, using the whole road etc, he tucked in and rode a decent distance behind me, letting me get on with it.

Second... I was riding along and picked up on an engine sound. The ER-6 mirrors are awful admittedly, but I've got them positioned as best I can to get a decent rear view. But couldn't see anything. I had space in front, so I looked back... to find someone on a T595 slipstreaming me!

On a very busy A-road, with a wet road and rush-hour traffic, I have some doofus sitting in a racing position behind me.

So I did the only reasonable thing - ignored him and waited until a left hander I know really well and I'm quite good there. Having got away from him, he then changed lane.

Just bewilders me - surely if you want to see if someone is up for a race, you present yourself to them? Not slip up behind and make yourself as hard to see as possible? I wouldn't have raced him anyway, but not the point.

You had what could only be described as an "Encounter with an hemorrhoid", someone on yer arse and being fucking irritating. I get them all the time on the northern motorway into Auckland, mostly riding GN125's or scooters.

Same as any dick in a cage who sits on yer arse. Bloody annoying no matter what the scenario, though admittly I'd rather have a bike on my arse than a cage.

I can never understand the mentallity of someone that hides behind any vehicle and not make themself known. Bit stupid and dangerous if you ask me.

whenever i come up behind a bike, i fall into staggered formation. i note where they are on the road, and i sit opposite. same when one is behind me, i force them to stagger by moving either left or right.
id rather have a car right behind me than a bike, cos a car being wider is more easy to see in the mirrors, without having to actually headcheck.
