They look good on paper for the purposes I want it for..e.g everyday riding, touring and a bit of scratchin' with my mates. What is the pillion accomodation like...??? Can anyone who has had one give me their thoughts on them....

Mate, you can't get a better bike for the money that is such a good all rounder!!!!!

If you search the forum under my name "beyond" under my posts, you will see many articles I've written on my thoughts on these bikes.

If you get one, join the GSX1400 uk org and you'll get all the proper suspension settings for it that really transform the handling.

They are an awesome bike and great for two up. You will be hard pressed to find anything better for the money.

They tour great, you can ride them all day, you can pillion in comfort and they go like hell in the twisties so scratchin is no problem.

Dunno if you are buying new or not but I think my trade blue and white is still at Colemans and I looked after it well.

I'm running a K6 black one now and just love them.

Several of our local Ulysses members own these bikes and swear by them, excellent 2-up machine with loads of low to mid range power. If you are buying new my advice is to be sure to buy a run-out special at a discounted price, that seems to happen annually with some Suzuki models.

If you are expanding your search beyond the ZRX1200 another bike you could explore is the Yamaha XJR1300.

There's been loads of debate on KB about which naked muscle bike to get so I won't repeat myself and waste everybodies time in the process by suggesting that the CB1300 is also a winning contender. I can't say its the best because I haven't ridden the others...I'm sure they all do a similar job if the truth be known... All I can say is that I love mine. It does everything I want or need. There certainly seems to be a healthy growing trend to switch from sportsbikes to NMBs. Long may it continue. Good luck in your search for a 14, Scooter. Is the Suzuki going to replace the ZX10 or compliment it?
