Thus I must be pretty smart.

At 22 ive been in the Automotive parts industry (genuine parts) for 6 years now and will be leaving soon and going into something completly different. Its never to late to change

Any who , back on topic....if there is one .
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I dont beleive that you were not serious, because your first post was. You will find people here dont hold grudges, be a man, admit you were silly and get over it. Besides, even if you did it for fun.,..that makes you a real tosser.

I'm left wondering *who is this tosser*

I was starting to feel a bit sorry for this young fellow there at the beginning.... but that didn't last long reading the rest of the thread.

Anyone who was seriously looking for an apprenticeship would not come on here and openly abuse the people who are the ones that (a) they could potentially get a job or pointers from and (b) are potential customers!!

Time to grow up and lose the attitude, who in their right mind would hire someone with outbursts like that....

Good luck zeo....keep on trying! If you want to know what it's gonna take to get a job in the industry, then definately ask the potential employers even if they aren't looking to hire you. Enthusiasm and desire to learn is important, and people skills don't go a miss either as is clearly shown in this thread! Any business looking for someone for a starting position would have to want to employ someone like you over someone like the plonker that started this thread!

Hey congrats on getting a job mate.

Please let us know what bike shop you're working at.

No offence, it's just that I like my work to be carried out by people who are literate.
