As for the Kawasaki 900 - Don't know much about it except RRP is $13,750

Been offered the "07 Kawasaki 900" for $13,000. It get a good review, but there aren't any Kawasaki VN900 or the M50 in Wellington to test ride.

Yea that's what sucks. And I bet you don't want to wait long enough for them to get one?

I had this problem when i went shopping for a bike too, Suzuki seemed to think I would buy on looks alone (WRONG)

. when i pushed the point they offered up an old intruder & said if I liked it I could buy the new M50 based on the intruder. Honda (cyclespot) were way more helpful with a demo vtx 1300 & cb1300 available.. I brought the cb1300 & love it , the pricing was close to the M50 & other bikes I looked at . when you consider the M50 is around $13k & the cb was $13.5k . 500 cc more for sensibly the same price the cb was too hard to pass up. The cb now has 21,000 k on it ( in 7 months) & is proving to be an excellent all round performer.

I don't know why dealers in a region don't pool their resources for test ride bikes. If it's the difference between making a sale or not, surely it's worth considering?
