I just bought me a 2002 X1 Lightning, and love it.....plenty of grunt and not shy on the speed either. Im looking for some feedback about my new horse, some pros to keep me justified and some cons to keep me prepared ???
Just joined up today but been riding 1200 Evo sportsters for a few years now.
How the ???? do I get rid of the "L-Plate" on my profile.....how degrading.
    Any response appreciated.

    Hey SpinFX, welcome to KB.

Glad to see another bit of American muscle tearing up the roads out there.

cheers mate.... glad to own a Buell. Went for a good ride this weekend, got in a bit of fine and wet weather, she handles heaps better in the wet than the old sporty
Only had one bugger moment....... .......i noticed a strong smell of fuel and upon closer inspection noticed the fuel line ( next to the pump ) had been rubbing against the plastic casing of the cooling fan, and had perished the line causing fuel to be spat everywhere ( it had been rubbing for some time before i bought it too by the looks ) .
Because of the rain the only thing that gave it away was the smell and the puddle of rainbows when I stopped. Black tape on it for now- replace with braided hose I think.

I like the hyper charger look that you've got, ordered my one the day I bought the bike.

Well if you up north sing out........
