It's coming. Whoar. I think I need a wee lie down now.

Ah, it's shafty, that means it won't wheelie!
If anybody reading this is in the employ or confidence of Kawasaki New Zealand Limited, I would be really interest to know what the RRP of one of these may be...

That naked shot is awesome looking. Not much to the back end at all, might have to nickname it Kylie.
I like the hand adjustable preload. My (soft) panniers had some wet stuff in them since Friday and unbeknown to me and pillion, the bangs were hanging down a little and I surmise on big bumps the wheel would come up and brush them. Now I have one pannier bag with a huge hole and one with some serious scuffing.
I couldn't be arsed adjusting the preload on the GSXR, even though it is easy to get in there with c-spanner. It could have saved those panniers. Shit Oxford ones anyway, good riddance shitbags.
Oh yeah, tyre pressure sensors could be a life saver, literally.
Me and pillion went to the ferry terminal 2 weeks ago today, and as we were in the check in queue, it was brought to our attention that our rear tyre was looking a bit sad. Indeed, a slow leak. Delayed our departure by a day. New tyre fitted (Metzeler Roadtech(?) Z6, not bad! Looks pretty good for nearly 5000km of two up riding!!) But it could have been much worse if we had got to the Queen Charlotte drive on a flatish tyre, or just really inconvenient getting off the ferry.
Its printed off and afixed to the notice board in my bed room as a wee bit of a hint. Only in my dreams, but dreams are good.
One would be able to do the GC in under 18 hours easy on one of them me thinks. I wonder if the tyre mileage is better on the GT than the sport. A guy here at work is lucky to get 5K out of his 1400.
Still there is plenty of life in the flying sofa yet, by then I may find that it is within my price.

Should I order one anyway?

Mate, imagine th PSI you'd have to run on that rear tyre with the missus and all her gear on the back. Might as well fill it with water. Make sure you get all the bubbles out or it'll start to slosh.
Some things are worth dying for, living is one of them.
Yeah... Why the hell not - I'm always happiest spending other peoples money![]()
Cheers
There are some good video files on Kawasakis Europen Website...
When does it come out that is a great looking bike if it only lives up to the press.
