A San Franciscan in New Zealand - Part 2

Hi All,

I did a North Island ride last year after a Segway Polo event in Auckland. Met a bunch of you as we did the Coromandel loop - was fantastic! Here are some pictures from that:

Well, I didn't get to the South Island on that trip, so I'm coming back!

I bought this bike: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jonbauer/386254759/ on TradeMe, and plan to sell it after the trip. My buddy Frayne and I are going to do the Southern Cross rally and then I'm gonn have some time afterwards to spend more time hanging on the South Island.

I hope to see you guys/gals again on this visit too!

Hey Jon, I remember you posting about your last visit here!
Damn nice VFR! Superb sport/tourer that should be perfect for the South Island roads.
