    Wanted, 1996 ZZR600 Dereg/wrecked Frame

    In a nuttshell, I need a frame for my bike so I can get it registered.

    Well, it's not exactly illegal either.

    If I buy a damaged bike, and use parts from my good, and legally acquired, but unregisterable, bike to fix it, that's not illegal

    Car guys sometimes resort to this if they have a car that can't be regoed because it doesn't comply with the airbag rules or frontal impact rules or something. Legally acquired, just can't get over the bureaucratic mountain.

    Buy an old wreck or a "cooking" model and build it up with the unregisterable vehicle.

    Well granted, I'd not actually jump and down yelling "Hey, Mr Plod". Even when you're right it can make life simpler if you don't have to prove it.

    i think you have trouble find a zzr600 frame, from what i seen they are not very common in nz for starters,
