    Catastrophic piston failure

    My Bella RV 150 doesn't go any more - can anyone tell me why...?

    im no two stroke expert,you should pm f5dave
    looks to me like the marks on the top of the piston is detonation/lean & the side are lack of lubrication/lean mixture

    Thanks bistard, but my question was retorical - I know why the scoot doesn't go - the fucking piston exploded....

    Geez those pictures don't do it justice! To interpret the crappy cameraphone piccies for everyone else, what you see mashed between the piston and head is the piston skirt.
