Whats a CBX400F worth?

What would be a good price to pay for a 1982 Honda CBX400F in good condition, seat needs re-covering, needs re-reg.

Good bikes these, I had one back in 1987.

I reckon these days, in the condition you stated, no more than $1500.

It's only worth what you feel like paying. There really isn't any 'value' as such in a bike of that age. If it is in good nick $1,500 would be a reasonable offer, but remember this was the Honda 'camchain' era so make sure that you can hear the thing running.
