Help with tyres.

Right i got these tyres on the bike and have heard different things from different people. So i am gonna ask you guys who might have used them, how far can i push them and should i change them.

They are avon azaro's front and rear almost new with tonnes of tread.

Ive heard they are ok, starting to become old now and have been replaced with the AV49's.... Still sticky once warmed up..... its a sort of sports touring tyre..... Comparable to the Pirelli Dragon GTS and BT012's and Michillen Pilot Roads.... Should be sweet for the time being.... But the next set for your riding might have to be stickier....

My old man went from AV45's and 46's to the Diablo's... He likes the diablo's heaps more

thats the Azaro, the next one up is the AV49/50 which is similar to the Diablo/BT014/Pilot Sport

I've got them on my Blackbird and they're the best tyres I've had on so far. Very predictable in both wet and dry conditions and they seem to offer quite a bit of grip for a tyre that looks like it's going to last for more than 6000-8000 km!

Your bike is relatively light, so they should grip AND have a decent life!

Cheers man i was just looking at the above link and these are the sports tourer ones. so i dunno but havn't had any problems as of yet, just didn't want to push and be caught out(had that done before and it wasn't fun).

I recently chucked a AV40 on the rear, although it could be down to the shoddy rotary damper on the TL's i've never had a rear move round some much on the track, un nerving to say the least, i'd say a pilot sport would give far more grip and better stabilty. If you got the coin, super corsa's or rennsports all the way.

yes yes CK and how about a new 636 as well. If i had the coin it would be diablos but seeing as i don't (untill christmas anyway) i just need to know these aren't going just let go at an inappropriate time. So far in the wet they arn't to bad unless you open the throttle a bit much and in the dry, well still need to go for that "test" ride aye

I had trashed Pirelli Dragons on the FahrtSturm, and was going to put Diablos on, but was told they would wear fairly fast. So for about the same price, I got the AV49-SP (sport) on the front, and the AV46-ST (sport/touring) on the rear. They are HEAPS better than the older model Azaros (AV35/36, I think) that I had on my VFR, and I'm very pleased with them. I've managed to spin up the rear on wet slippery roads when hard on the gas, but otherwise they've been great for both feel and grip. Only time will tell how they wear though, but so far they are at least wearing evenly.

I've got new Avon av49sp front and 50sp rear on the gixx.These are by far the best tyres I've used wet or dry,very much improved over the older model avon.Way better grip than Diablo's,better grip than M1's or Pilot sports and lighter handling/quicker steering than Rennsports.Never had 'em even feel like they wanna let go in the dry,surprising amount of grip in the wet too.Wear compatable with the pilots and m1's (wear a bit faster than diablo's).
Only downside so far is they take a couple of k's to warm up.
I've got 1800k's on them so far and really can't fault them.

I found these thing's feel real vague trailing the throttle going into a corner,just grit yer teeth and dial the gas on and they're fine....they feel much more planted under power.....
