    hey cheese should I rebuild the clutch when I put a new basket in? It isn't disengaging properly.

    It's not easy to kick over in gear. Its always been like that.

    If your in gear and you pull the clutch in it creeps forward.

    Get a new basket, or fix the old one.

    The thing with most MX bikes is that they use alloy baskets, they wear where the plates are held and they tend to hold on a bit. You maybe able to find a one out of a road bike that uses a steel one?? I'd take the old basket around some bike wreckers and see what you can find. It would have to an exact match.

    Option B is to file out the grooves in the basket. this only works once and is a bit rangi.
