just put a gsx400 engine into race kart

Me and some mates have just put a gsx400 impulse engine (400cc 4cylinder 16v) into a gokart, its all pritty much ready to be raced around a bit but we think we may have stuffed the alternator when we wer welding on the kart frame. Anyone got a gsx400 alternator lying around they wana sell cheap :P

An Impluse engine in a gokart OMG
Those things go like a cut cat in a motorcycle, (speed tax was often payed when I was riding mine), I can only imagine the carnage its going to cause as a gokart.

Good luck finding a alternator and be bloody careful with that thing

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

run a constant loss system, and rip out the alternator,
generly you don't run a kart for more than a couple of hours at a time any way,

pretty cool but I'd still expect a proper 250 Superkart to give them (Gixxerkart)a spanking in anything but top speed and a proper 125 will do over the 400 without any problems

If you look a bit further than gixxerkart, you'll find a two seater kart with a blackbird engine in it. LOTS more power! It's nucking futs.

haha yeah it sounds like a real animal to with a short exhaust. Its seriously wide and low with race kart slicks. Sounds torquee too
Few more lil bits to tidy up and its time to rape it.
