I haven't texted while riding exactly, but have checked my phone at traffic lights. Was all discombobulated when the light turned green as I was holding my glove under my other arm so I couldn't reach forward enough to get to the clutch. Wouldnt recommend it really, nearly spilled my latte...

I think it's a Team Piston Broke thing.

Have seen Mikey do it too.

I figured if they can do it so can I, now I have too.

Haven't seen a chick using her mirror while riding to put on her lippy yet though.

Give Straitjacket a couple more years.

Yeah, just sit on your glove and use your left hand for the phone. Change gear without clutch if necessary.
Experience......something you get just after you needed it

This guy was pottering around at about 20kph, steering with his right arm while he txted with the left... He sure wasn't looking at the road either!

I've done that before... especially on Carvers NXR125... you just click up and down gears without the clutch... just plan your route to not include any stop signs or traffic lights...

hell good effort, i was wondering about the glove thing but i guess its definitely possible.
However i think it is an absolutely stupid thing to do, on a bike or in a car it is scary how it takes away attention from the important things, like not crashing.
Creeps me out to see people doing things like that, i sure don't like sharing the road with people not watching where they are going.

I am safety on two wheels I take off my left glove, sit on it, and text with my left hand... fortunately for some (like me), I write perfect predictive text (just like all my messages on KiwiBiker), and don't even need to look at the screen when I'm typing...

Lucky we don't have cell phones down here.

I have been known to release carrier pigeons when riding though.
I feel like I'm diagonally parked in a parallel universe.
