Now that I've had an up close and personal experience with an Aprilia - there aint no way I'm going Gixxer! No offense to those that ride them, but I know I prefer the Ape.

But yeah, the Aprilia really is something else. I've got the feeling I'm still gonna like it more than the gixxer.

What a perfect description of why i bought a RSV R.Ditto. I didn't buy an RSVR for the envy factor or because I want to be exclusive - I bought it because it a) turns me on to look at, and b) suits my riding style.
People are buying the RSVR is because they're the best bang for your buck in the v-twin market, and DAMN do they look sexy

Why would I have owned both? I've ridden both, before I owned either, and know which one is best for me. But that's my choice, I prefer one to the other, because they are nothing alike, and one suits me.
That's all I've said, not that one is better. Other people are trying to say one is better than the other, period, when they cannot be compared when it comes to performance.

I'm not interested in an argument, but you were slagging off the GIXXERS, and I was making light hearted jokes. If you're gonna pack a tanty about it, maybe you should take your opinions somewhere else.
BTW, my gixxer did quite well at the hill climb, as did my ladys RSV, but only one of them won it
