I'm of the opinion that ppc are worth doing if you don't know much about something and there are large sums of money involved (ie a builders report when buying a house, a mechanical report when buying a vehicle, a full medical before marrying some bloke).
If you have access to someone to look something over for you that knows their shit, then that is the least you should do.
I think that otherwise if you don't get something checked, you purchase "blind" , you then don't have any grounds to winge about it later when it all turns to shit.
But that's just my opinion as I value my hard erned dough (read ; tight as a bulls arse).
Oh and by the way, Wicked, new bike time!!!

Nice one Wasp! Nice looking machine that. 636s are pretty tough, they were built to take the punishment, so if it's been looked after it should be fine even if it's been fanged around a bit. I say go for it! The $35 appraisal isn't a stupid idea though - cheap enough and will pick up any glaringly obvious problems.

    Good luck!
Soapbox house of cards and glass, so don't go tossing your stones around.
