Diesel trail on Newlands Road, Wellington

Just a heads up for any of my fellow bikers heading into town. There's a trail of spilt diesel from the Newlands roundabout to the Newlands Bus depot.

Shouldn't be an issue, but better to be wary.

I went through about the same time and still looked wet, so perhaps one of the buses had just had a slight haemorage.

Ahhh. Sorry about the strange lines, but new bike and diesel = paranoia. Trust that you were going in to town and didn't get caught up in the go slow out to Petone.

Yeah, I saw it. I've only just got a chance to get online today. Better watch it tomorrow - there's rain forecast.
I was on a 'new to me' bike today as well.

Saw a guy washing the driveway into Newlands Depot. Bet they don't clean up the rest...

EDIT: Apparently they are putting 'peat' on it at the moment. Yay...
