The front Pre-Load is set 5mm...standard is 10mm, so thats seems right
The Standard Rear settings are...Spring pre Load = 12 turns...Rebound Damping 1.5 turns
2up settings for rear are....Spring pre Load = 6 turns...Rebound Damping 1 turn.
I havent checked the rear at all yet so back to the first question, would it effect cornering the front while cornering?
To Cut a long story short ( Please do not take offence) The suspension on that model Triumph is Crap, the front forks are as bad as an SV650, and the rear spring is far to soft.
You really need a furmer rear spring, and a kit inside the front forks to give you some Re bound control! The way to cheat the front problem is, Go buy some 20# fork oil and throw that in, you will instantly notice the difference.
