    STUPID!!

Please tell me that I was not the only stupid one out there this morning??
I was on a CBR600 and man was it raining! I could not even find my thermals!
It was not too bad. Peikok Hill was dodgy! windy, flooding and slips everywhere! Were nice lines of pine needles to dodge too.
Waiting for home time, (I bet its going to rain just as I go outside.)
If anyone see's a harlequin cbr600 around tonight, dont mind me swirving everywhere in the wind! Its out of my control. :spudwhat:

I found the FZR was pretty good in strong winds. The YZF is not quite as good.

What, tomorrow? Stop by the shop. It's the one Mitch doesnt work at, which means it's the good one.

Suns out here...for about 30secs... at least its stopped raining!
took the whole afternoon to get my gear dry and it would've sucked to get soaked again.
wind's still a bit of a bitch but at least there's stuff all traffic with no one getting on trains today

Glad ya made it home safe, celticno6. just looked at the webcam and the rivers up a few feet since last time i looked.
anyone riding tonite...STAY SAFE! and keep the rubber bits at the bottom

I'm going to be up at Manfeild on the 28th so could collect them from you there and deliver to Celtic if that's any help?

Yeah, that's only 9 days away. If Chrissie and Ian can't sort it out by then that would be super thanks Lynda...
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Well we still didn't have power when I left home for Uni this morning. We lost it on Tuesday night. Don't know if it's back yet (I'm at Uni at the mo). Thank goodness for the wood burner is all I can say!
On a diff note - the weather's pretty good now eh?! It hasn't rained for a while and the trees outside aren't moving (let alone snapping in half and taking out windows!) AND there's SUN! The real live stuff! Well, something bright occassionally flashes through the window anyway.

Yeah the sun is out but apparently there is a dirty big slip on the Hutt Road near Horokiwi blocking both north and southbound lanes. Traffic is banked up Ngauranga gorge. I'm off to Upper Hutt now but will be going via Porirua and Haywards.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Both lanes?? That would be impressive. As the rail is next to it is that still ok? Neither Trans or Hutt websites seem up to date about this.
Don't you look at my accountant.
