every day for what means? communting? how far would your communting take you per day?

One thing you have to remmeber the rsv more of a race rep bike, unlike the gs1200 you have at moment

nice choice of bike ! I've got a 1999 and a 2003 RSV. Love them both. The older one is a slightly more upright position than the 03. Both super comfy riding positons. The 03 is smoother and performs better higher in the rev range, the 99 has lots down low. No probs riding through suburbia. Easy maintenance bikes and parts are relitively cheap should you need them. I race the 99 every month so it gets well used, and people steel it for wheelie missions inbetween ....ahem!
    Sounds pretty nice too.
Apart from the starter solinoid thingy watsit packing its pants, ive had no probs with it, considering it's 8 years old and got 36000kms on the dial it runs beautifully. Infact.....it was forsale, but now it's a keeper

Go ride a few and see what you think

get your full asap, every time the cop looks at ur licence add $400 an 25 demerit points, It really really hurts (demerits way way more than the money - and im on near min wage)
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Another place work checking out and asking some questions is www.apriliaforum.com
Flame has already given you a good idea on the differences.
I have found the motor strong & reliable. Same power plant in mine.
Relatively cheap to maintain. In line with a modern Jappa.
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
