Aledged Bike Vers Car Coromandel

Spent last night in Coromandel was told there had been a Bike accident on the last hill going north. Just before Manaia.
Anyone hear anything ?

no, this manaia is just south of coromandel town. awesome hill upfrom the coast - super fast down the other side

a mate of mine went passed just after it happened,

apparently a guy on a SV1000 shot passed him going up the coro hill and then saw him just before the te Kuoma (sp?) turn off comming down the hill north bound, apparently he took on a legnum and didn't come off so well, the car was up the bank on right and the bike had gone off the hill on the left and the guy was in the middle of the road unattended.

he said he didn't look dead but was in a very bad state, there were a few people there so they would have been waiting for an ambulance.

Did anyone hear anything from police coms?
