1:38, pulling out from the curb and while indicating left!

But seriously, it's always great to see people taking responsibility for improving their riding, and just as good seeing competent people give up their time to help.

I'd love to head up there mate, the weather'd be perfect about now.

Watch this space. Can't ignore a plea like that.
Noooo, you're not scary at all - a bit intimidating, maybe, but not scary...
The weather is absolutely perfect - make it quick!!

    Good stuff.

Can I respectfully add a tip for what its worth.

When leaving the kerb, apart from checking the mirrors, a quick look over the shoulder can be a "lifesaver".

We had that talk. And because JCM is a quick study it never needed to be mentioned again.

I was going around a left hand corner....! But yes, I saw that too. I didn't indicate when I pulled out from the kerb. Point taken. Must do better next time.

    *sigh*

    Not a good morning today

Ooops, t'was meant to be a funny and not to cause offence in any way (and was more directed at the teacher). The net effect of the session far outweighed any minor indescretions......

Hope your day gets better - think of the corners this weekend

    LOL, not taken as such

Sense of humour failure on my part this morning! Another lesson was learnt this morning - never, ever ride while totally knackered

I have never before felt so confident on a road I've never ridden before, and have never before done corners at speed (well, speed for me is anything over 20kph...but from small acorns...).
Great to hear JCM. You are on the past to more and more enjoyment from riding your bike.

Looked at the vid and I couldn't tell the difference, although Bruce always used to say my lines where crazy. He never knew where i was going be on the road so kept his distance. I think it's got something to do with me being blind in one eye.

Good on ya Jim, I might borrow you one day myself.

Yeah, I love the song as well. Never heard it before, but I think it might be one for the iPod!

Erm, no, I think I might follow you tomorrow!

Yeah definitely does take a certain type of person with the right mindset to make the choice to help less experienced riders out, have the patience for it, and do it sucessfully. Was just having that conversation with Jim!

I noticed the difference right away, part 2 was really good, great stuff Jude Lots more practice... hell, never give up practicing I say! I don't intend to! (S)he who thinks (s)he can't learn more is going to suffer for it.

Btw, if you like that music, the singer is Maynard James Keenan, also known as the singer for TOOL, my favourite band. Another fan, perhaps?

Ooh no! My chances of future assistance would be much reduced if I did that! LOL

I love the 'no ginnys were hurt in the making of this film' part at the end
