And Police are no longer allowed to completely block the road to stop a car, they have to leave an 'escape route'...WTF is the point of a road-block then??
This was after a 'tard with a car load of passengers ploughed into a fire-engine (I think, from memory) that had been placed to block the road for him and many deaths/injuries reslulted.

Like "Oh, fire engine blocking road, better stop" was too much to figure out??
    Darwin rocks!!!
Fuck Little Cedric and Retards like him. Take them all out at any cost before they kill innocent people like you and i and our families.
BTW that fire engine could have easily been a car with your family in it and do you think that those little shitheads would have given that a thought? I don't bloody think so.
Keep up the good work SD

    Cheers

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    Don't know don't care.

What i do know is that there are (on average) 35 accidents a month on the Paekakreki Hill road and virtually everyone of them is caused by people over estimating their ability - ie they drive like muppets. As a result we now have an 80 / 70 kph limit where once we enjoyed a 100kph limit.

Do I trust joe average to Police themselves? No - 90% of us drive like total dickheads. Given half a chance we would be way worse.

The whole revenue vs safety thing is just 2 meaningless theoretical absolutes that have no basis in the real world.

    Cheers

I disagree to a degree (chuckle). If the whole point is safety there should be measures to enforce good driving standards, not just the [perceived] fixation on speed enforcement. If the driving standards were improved then the speed limit could be higher on the hill.

No, I think it sums up your post(s) quite well...

    Inane (adjective)
    1. Silly or unintelligent
    Having little sense or importance

    2. insubstantial
    empty or void.

exactly, and the focus would be on poor and dangerous driving not just on speed.

speed doesn't kill, bad drivers do

Funny thought just occured to me...

People here got all bent out of shape when Maori suggested Marae based justice systems might work. No no - you cant trust them to police themselves, one law for all, time those cunts shaped up and took responsibility....

Now driving.... Time we all stumped up and took responsibility I reckon. Speed might not kill (just proved that) but the irresponsible use of speed sure does. Sorry - most people drive like dorks and the beatings will continue..
