Yup, there sure is......a rather unfortunate, embarrassing wee tap that sent said bike toppling........no damage that I could see, but waiting to hear from the bike owner (I left a note as well as asking on here...trying to cover all bases!).

*sigh* Some days you just wish you'd stayed in bed!

Ah, explains the bad day..... Glad to see there are still people who take responsibility for accidents though.

    Is your bike ok?

After the drop from last night or the tap from today?

The drop last night bent the brake lever but Jim kindly sorted that out for me

Today it was literally a tiny tap and over the other bike went. No damage where my bike touched theirs - on either bike. And all I could see on the other bike was a scrape on the exhaust. Not sure if that was there already tho so.........I wait.........

They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.

Jeez ... pity it wasn't in the bike park by the ANZ, the domino effect would have been cool to watch ... you might have managed a world record!

Which side of the road? Directly outside the Bose Shop or the opposite corner?
What colour bike? I park there most days, along with 3 others that I work with. (if there is space when I get in.) Thankful I didn't have the bike in today from the sound of it. I know most of the guys that park there.
Black Kawa, red cagiva (sp) , black suzi, gold suzi , black honda ? Normally depends on who gets in first.
Not sure of the rego's but I know most of the bikes and the owners!.
I'm suprised that no-one saw the incident as our building overlooks the spot so we can keep an eye on the bikes.
I'm only wearing black until they develop something darker

Directly outside the Bose shop, diagonally across from the Intercontinental.

Was a naked sports bike (no badges so I have no idea what sort of bike - being cr@p at that sort of thing) with a grey sparkly paint job and white speedo & rev counter. Number plate had Wellington Motorcycles at the bottom of it.

One guy on an orange and black bike was parking up opposite me as it happened - he looked and then walked off Thanks for the help there....

I still feel dreadful about it. I just wasn't concentrating. Way too tired this morning. The note I left on the bike had gone a couple of hours later - I'd put it in a clear plastic bag and tucked it under the seat strap so it has to have been actually taken off the bike rather than being blown away. Still waiting to hear from the owner. This is worse than being told to go wait outside the headmistress' office!!!!!

Slayer came over as I was leaving to go home and he had a look at the bike too. Showed him the exhaust and he noticed some scratches on the end of the right handgrip, but other than that, nothing else evident.

Not one of the normal crew that park there. I don't recognise that bike and no one in the office mentioned anything.

Nah, don't bother - each to their own. Some people are helpers, some aren't. Would have been nice, but it was OK in the end. In any case, I probably looked like a bit of a dick and he probably thought I deserved to sort it out myself. Never seen the orange and black bike before - what's the curly orange cable that goes from the handlebars to the front wheel?

I am thankful that it wasn't a heavy bike as it had no grab bar at the back and so it was a lift with just the handlebars.

I am also incredibly embarrassed that it happened at all. Feeling incredibly sheepish and sorry for myself!! Dave will have a fit if and when he finds out....

I'm with Squeak the Rat on this one, it's nice to know there are still people out there willing to take responsiblity (especially as that's where I normally park). Hope the weekend proves better for you than Thurs/Fri did.
