Why not go the whole hog (or several hogs, even) and see if you can get HUGE enough to be allowed a Rocket III?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

just how big are you? i'm 6'2 100kg and rode a VT250 (the naked 2003 one). it fit me just fine.

even the new gsx250 suzi is a big (ish) bike that wasn't too uncomfortable, although the seat was f-ing hard

    Shhhhh!

We're trying to convince the Man here that giving us all license exemptions should be an ACC requirement.

Yeah. I'm 6'1" and 105kg, still happy with my wee Bandit that lugs me around in comfort and, when required, a bit of zip.
Look, it's an itsy bitsy Bandit.

The XJ400 Diversion is a 4 cylinder 4 stroke and would be a great first bike, the bigger XJ600 was very popular in the US when released. For $2750 that looks a good buy in trade me.Trade me divvy link

What quarterwit thought up the name "Diversion"? Even if it was a halfway decent bike, you'd have to peel the nametags off, or at least vandalise them. Pity it's not reeeaaaally ugly, or you could change it to read "Perversion".

Just don't expect to ride it around a corner fast greenhorn! A mate of mine nearly killed himself on a Diversion 900 because the darn thing wouldn't lean over far in a corner.

I suppose if you're after a cruiser as opposed to a true sportsbike - the Diversion would suit you!

I'd say Paul really wants to employ a groomer! Pretty bad corrosion around the mirror stalks and front of the engine.

The slack prick in charge of WMCCs website hasn't taken a pic of theirs yet. But it's a 2001, done 6500km.

Well guys, I've been given a name and phone number of a bloke who walked into a bike shop on a learners license and bought a bike over 250cc because he had an exemption based on his size. The bike shop guy gave me his details. I dont think he would appreciate me giving his name and number on a public forum but as soon as i get my fat arse into gear and ring him myself i will let you know what transpires.

I am 6 ft 6 inches and weigh in at around 128kg. This apparently is similar dimensions to said guy who got the exemption.

To be truthful i can probably fit on some of the 250's comfortably enough, but i thought hey if being a fat bastard gets me an exemption why not go for it? It means i'm not limited to buying an overpriced 250 for my first bike, cos as i said before not only am i a fat, tall bastard i am also a poor bastard, oh, and a tight bastard.
