You did bloody well, you were giving it hell.
I was real impressed with everyone to be honest, great to see.

If anyone feels that they would like some one on one time to go for a ride and get some training by day please feel free to PM me.

There are some excellent roads around here that will let you experience a wide variety of conditions, or you may have specific issues which you would like advice or help on.

Just an offer to get more experience than we can reasonably offer on the Wednesday night.

    Great evening folks!

Big thanks to the mentors: Big Dog, The Stranger, Crashe and Kittyhawk for this evening. Was a nice turnout and lots learned!

Was nice to catch up with you all at the pub too!

Anyone see my powerslide going back pass the shell just as you were all leaving?

    I was stoked with it...

Me, weasel, dan and gremlin had a good rounabout session, met up with Mack and had a good evening.

Was cringing watching gremlie ride around on the zx10 side saddle, but jees... well done mate

I wondered where you went... did not see/hear you leave. Good to see you setting a good example as usual... *rolls eyes*

Remember folks - Frosty has kindly set up a great evening for people to learn about the insides of bikes next wednesday. If your interested you need to contact him quick smart as places are going quick! LINK.

You did great!! Really opened her up and gave ya bike a good working over. As for the repairs, I usually carry tools and a puncture repair kit for the odd occasion when things do go wrong. Does your bike have a little repair kit/tools under your seat?

Any newbie training rides in Christchurch

Sorry, not sure if this is the right place to ask but haven't found any info elsewhere at this site...

Just purchased my first bike and would like to catch up with others for rides, advice and helpful hints (constructive criticism...). Sounds like some awesome knowledge sharing and such assistance in Auckland...what about in Christchurch?

    Thanks.

    Welcome to KB.

Contact Dangerous, Rashika or Sniper (miss sniper) and they will be able to help you out as they all live down in the Chch area.

There are other KBers living down there.

Also check out the 'mentor' list under 'search' and it should bring up someone down there.

either that or your fuel line is leaking...

I will be at westgate 6:30pm Wednesday as per usual folks. Those of you not going to Frosty's and want to practice, let me know. Depending on how much interest there is etc.

+1 I do not want to take up a seat at the event that would be of more value to someone else.
BIG CREDIT to Frosty for doing the event and the organising.

    Yep, that was the idea.

Everybody meet at westgate, those going to your place can then go together. And those that wish to have a practice can do so with Big Dog and I.

Sorry guys I cannot make this one as family commitments take precedence, but I will be along soonish.
Noel and I have plans for a good test for those who are keen to improve.
    Details to follow.
