    Exhaust probs

Hi everyone, havent been on here for a while, getting the net put on at home soon yay. Anyways my exhaust is too loud to get wof. I took off the outer exhaust but nothing inside, so if i got it packed the packing would just fly out the back. Supposed to be a pipe with alot of holes in it. For around $500 i could get a secondhand scorpion exhaust. Ive rang a few wreckers but cant really help me out as parts for Ducati 96 600ss are hard to come by. Tried stuffing chicken wire in it but dosent work. Does anyone know of a place that could make a inner exhaust piece? any help would be greatly appreciated.

Give Custom Chambers a ring and see what they say.

Try shoving a towell in it, if it stays in for 10min, just wack it down there before you go for your wof.

Let me know if that works
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Woolf Mufflers in Mt Eden (if your up this way much). I know lots of people that have been there. Good work and reasonable price. If you like your can the way it is, remember the wof sticker doesn't mean your bike has to be pretty, anything that will fit and is quiet will get you a pass then back to the old screamer! Cops can still ping ya if it's too loud even if you've got a wof but.

If you are in Hamilton ring Steve Bridge at F1 Engineering & get a piece of perferated tube welded into the muffler

Simple answer, get a metal bracket made up that can slip between the exhaust manifold where it meets the can. a simple 1.2mm stainless steel or mild steel bit would do. Drill some holes in it to allow the exhaust gases to escape, and your engin will be quieter. You will loose a lot of power, but take it out once you have the WOF. Save for the next wof. done before, plain and simple.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
