    Well done Steam, Hawkeye and I were thinking of you this morning (as he's already said).

    Enjoy that new bike when you pick it up, it's a reasonable ride back up the country so take it easy.
    Soooooo much to learn, but having fun doing it.....

    So glad you passed ... I didn't doubt it for a minute. I figured that the tester would take one look at the bike, fall about laffing and write out the license based on style alone

    Am jelous of your ride up from Chch. Nasty and I looked at "popping over the ditch" for a ride one weekend until we realised it would cost us $200 *each* for the ferry - bugger that.

    Ouch, it's only $98 on Bluebridge.
    I have 2 1/2 days to ride up so it'll be relaxed and sweet.

    Yup ... but $98 each way? We figured we could get a cheapie fare to Bisbane for the same cost as us and the bikes to Nelson and back - shame really
