    WAY more money than taste!

Take a look at this - if it had been done on some huge H-D I'd be repulsed, but on an MV?

    I'd horsewhip the fool personally...

    Have you seen this car?

Kind of reminds me of a Mitsubishi Diamante that has been done like a dog here in Johnsonville. Anyone in the area seen it? Blue, big as a whale, every conceivable attachment the guy could find at Repco is stuck to it. Guy is proud as though. Great sometimes to laugh uncontrollably as loud as you like with a helmet on

A womans opinion on the F4 on ebay... I like the custom cover. Also like the chequered affect on the side fearing (whatever it's called). Wouldn't look so bad if that was the only thing done.
Someday we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

Is that the one with the number plate (or is it the writing on the back where DIAMANTE used to be) that says SHARK or something.

Pity its still got a gutless 3500 in it.

You'd think he would have at least put the twin turbo out of the GTO into it.

    What a ricer.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

BWAHAHAHA I love it. What an idiot! (did a bloody good job though)

I particularly like... "This bike has been admired the World over and is a very Famous Bike in its own right." hee hee,,,,,

Now that said. I suppose that you cannot look at it in a NZ context. yeah, you might feel a bit daft turning up at the top of the Rimutakas on it but for Hollywood, it's actually quite restrained.

It's just the other side of the coin from people that over restore old bikes or add carbon fibre look alike self adhesive panels... The guy just went a bit father than our taste would normally allow...

Good on him. If thats what turns his crank, why not!

(hey come on, it's nowhere near as vile as modern american choppers)

Ever seen those bikes covered in (basically) carpet or some furry stuff. There was an article in PB a few years back. Revolting.
    Having to vacuum your bike...

Yes, but imagine the crash and abrasion resistance!
I think that maybe that's were the "furry craze" started? The bike was rashed 'n trashed, so it was easier to bog it up and cover it up?
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

    Nah..

When I was a kid in ChCh in the 60's there was a local loon with an Airel Square 4 covered in red crushed velvet and had stuff like a little TV fitted.

used to turn up at school fairs and the like... Never could figure it out...

Man, the question is why. Sure it might look good in some really out there futureistic non real movie, but honestly. I think out of all the colours the black version is best (all carbon fibre baby). But is it just a craze with everyone(mostly in america) wanting to make thier bike look like something out of a circus act. Spend the money on engine parts and aftermarket parts if you must , but the manufacturers are doing a good job with thier designs so why ruin them. Especially if it is italian
