Insiders say it should be on sale in 2006 with the most powerful engine a road bike has ever used - making somewhere around 190bhp.

The bike - named the VFR1200 - will feature traction control and the latest development of Honda's combined braking alongside ABS.

Other innovations they'll put into the VFR1200 are integrating the deployable wheels with the main front and rear wheels to provide stability at any speed. They'll also change the controls to an arrangement more familiar to your average road user. They'll integrate a safety cage, put in air bags, improve the ergonomics and windscreen to the point where the driver and passengers (also upgraded from a single passenger) do not need safety equipment. They'll then use a name instead of just the letters/numbers combination to diferrentiate it, something like Integra for instance.

I said this before; it will feature a deltic triple engine made of glass.

Please see attached animated image of how it works. (Stolen from: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Napier_Deltic )
