    Couple ???? about TR110

Hi all, I have a couple quick questions about a TR110 that I hope someone can answer. I live in the U.S. and have a TR110 that I bought as a total basket case (lots of pieces in lots of boxes) and finally finished putting it back together last weekend. Since no Streetmagics were EVER sold here in the USA, it's totally impossible to find any info on it. I got it running and it's pretty quick. I'm *TRYING* to get it registered for street use here...we'll see how that goes. Anyway, it had no battery in it when I got it. I managed to stuff the battery from my Derbi GPR50 in it so I could ride it, but it definately doesn't fit in there very well. Can someone tell me what model battery the TR110 takes?? I don't think it takes the same one as the 50. Also, anyone know what year or years these things were built? All the stickers on the bike are in japanese, so I can't read any of them.

Any help you can give will be appreciated. This was the only place on the web I could find that had TR110s and spoke english!
    TIA,
    Dangerous Dave

Thanks Mack! I posted the same question over there, but haven't gotten any more response over there than I did over here. Surely somebody between these two forums with a TR110 can unlatch the seat and tell me what kind of battery it takes. It oughta be printed in big bold letters on the side of the battery.

I found two posts from JeremyW about his TR that he's selling. In one post he says it was built in '04, but then in a later post he says '02. I'm guessing the later post is the correct one, but I'd still like to know if anyone actually knows what years they were built.

I've never been to a biker forum where they weren't all loony, and I wouldn't want it any other way. Thanks again.

check www.bikepics.com under suzuki, should atleast give you an idea, assuming the TR110 is listed, i've seen a couple around here.

Any possibility we could see some pics, does it have any mods?

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

Just checked under the seat and its a CBTX5L-BS, Chang battery.

Only just seen the post, feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

I was told by the first owner it was a 04' but when I went to Haldanes with the chassis number they said it was probably an 02' but could be a 98'. Most of them were made in 98' but it seems another run was done in 02'.

    Awesome bikes

Thanks Jeremy, I can get one of those locally. I just talked to the guy I bought the bike from, and he now tells me he has a Japanese title for it, as well as a bill of sale from the guy he bought it from in Japan, and all the customs papers. So hopefully, I can find out what year it is and hopefully get this puppy registered.

R6 kid, it's all stock, right down to the tires. I'll try to get a pic or two posted in a few days, as well as pics of some of my other toys. You can see pics of some of my creations on my personal webpage at http://www.tinyurl.com/3dwa Check out the "little red wagon" section while you're in there.
    More later,
